Baptised in Chippenham 27 September 1807, Dicky Fry was the son of Edward
Fry and Sarah Gough. He married his wife Charlotte Cross on 16
November1829 at Walcot St. Swithin, Bath and he is listed as publican at
the Three Cups in the Shambles in Pigot’s directory of 1830.
Unfortunately Charlotte died early in 1845.
The family ran Derrett’s farm.
Dicky died in November 1891 and was buried on the 4th at Wood Lane
non-conformist burial ground.
